Guide to pads:
Pads are used on both scrubbing and high-speed machines for cleaning and dry buffing. They are available in colours from white to brown and black depending on their coarseness and applications. There are also high-speed pads. Follow the same rule as for detergent, e.g. do not use a stronger method than necessary. Start with a light grade and move to a coarser one if necessary.
A red fibre web pad is normally sufficient for cleaning and buffing homogeneous and heterogeneous resilient iQ flooring with a PUR reinforced surface. We also recommend a white/beige pad or micro-fibre for heterogeneous resilient flooring. To strip polish, a brown pad should be used (usually linoleum or non-treated vinyl floors).

Guide to brushes:
Uneven subfloor
If the subfloor is uneven, then a suitable brush can give a better result. A cylindrical brush machine of the Rotowash type is a good choice for embossed flooring material such as Safe.T. and Multisafe floorings. Brushes work particularly well on combined machines.
When dry buffing, the following procedure can be used: attach the brush to the machine, then place a fibre web pad under the brush.
