Their two-layer constructions include the xf treated linoleum, pre-bonded to an under layer. Tarkett Linoleum Silencio xf has a total thickness of 3.8 mm – including 2.5 mm linoleum with jute backing and 1.3 mm polyurethane foam under layer, which give a sound reduction of 17 dB. A 3.3 mm thickness version is also available on request.

The unique construction and the manufacturing process, involving temperature and high pressure, give floorcoverings that minimises the effect of impact noise.
